Welcome To Bread Of Life Lutheran Church Website.

Bread of Life is a growing church, and we welcome you into our life of worship and fellowship. As God's people we embrace Jesus' promise that those who come will never be hungry. We therefore strive to be a grace-filled, accepting people with a welcome to all because of God's never ending love and faithfulness.

At Bread of Life Lutheran Church, you'll find jeans, suit and tie, slacks, or dress. All of them come with persons offering the warmth of welcome and community. And of course, the cross is always central. Bread of Life is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the ELCA cooperating congregation with Grand Valley State University.

We invite you to come, worship, grow, and serve with us  and join us in “Being fed, feeding others.”

History

Bread of Life began as a mission start of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, with its first worship on January 6, 1991. Official organization as a congregation was celebrated on January 11, 1998.

In March 2003 ground was broken for a church building at the corner of 36th and Baldwin in Hudsonville.

On November 2, 2003 we had the joy of dedicating our first permanent building. What a celebration! Please join us during this exciting time of establishing ourselves in a new location and learning what God has in store for us. With a new building we anticipate new opportunities for ministry.
